Leanne facing injury lay-off
 Women's Football News 23 Feb 2004

Arsenal and England defender Leanne Champ is likely to be out of action for around six weeks due to a knee ligament injury.

The tough tackling full back, who has been capped seven times, needed a scan after reporting for the England international against Denmark earlier this week and it was revealed that she has damage to the posterior cruciate ligament in her knee.

The former Millwall defender is now the third England international to be out through knee ligament injuries, the others being Everton duo Sammy Britton and Rachel Brown.
