 Kelly Dean has once again confirmed her status this season as one of the most prolific goalscorers outside the top flight. The Oldham Curzon striker finished jointly top of the Northern Division goalscoring charts for her third Golden Boot in four seasons, and told Women's Soccer Scene: "It's amazing, the best feeling ever."Amazingly Kelly tied with Melanie Reay of Sunderland for the second year running and she laughed: "I can't believe that me and Melanie have won it again, it's quite a coincidence really. Maybe I can beat her next year!" Oldham Curzon's record in recent years has been extremely consistent in the Northern Division and the Lancashire side finished in fourth place on this occasion and Kelly feels that they can go that one step further. "We've been going now for 16 years, so we really need to push on forward and we have been close. We've got a few new players now and hopefully we'll be able to do it next year." Next season will see an enforced change of ground for Oldham Curzon as they will play at the home of Hyde United whilst Curzon Ashton are having a new ground built. "I'm actually playing on my brother's pitch next season, which is quite a nice pitch." Kelly has scored a number of goals at National Park during the past few years and signed off with a hat-trick, although like most goalscorers she feels she could have had more. "I should have scored a fourth - I had a chance right at the end! It let me down the end but there you go."
