Newly crowned Southern Division Champions WFC Fulham were beaten for only the second time this season, losing 3-2 at home to away day specialists Colchester Utd.

Fulham had already clinched the title on Thursday night following Barnet's 2-1 defeat at home to West Ham Utd but goals from Hannah Porter, Toni Smith and Carman Joyce gave the U's a surprise 3-2 success. Jenny Banfield and Laura Phillips replied for Fulham as their 19-match unbeaten run came to an end.

Millwall Lionesses meanwhile stepped up their bid for second place and are two points behind Barnet following their 7-0 win away to Reading Royals. Charlie Dolby opened the scoring and Angela Kiobel added a second before half time. After the break, player manager Pru Buckley bagged a hat-trick with the other two goals from Chinwe Osuji.

West Ham Utd's superb finish to the season continued as they defeated Brighton & Hove Albion 3-1 to boost their chances of a top four finish. All of the goals came in the first half, Sam Pittuck's fifth minute opener for the Hammers was cancelled out by Katie Baker, but Pittuck restored West Ham's lead and Lauren White sealed the points with the third goal.

Newquay picked up one of their best results of the season, a 1-0 victory over Portsmouth. Chelsea Easton netted the only goal of the game on the half hour.
