Lady Imps boss hails win
 Women's Football News 19 Jan 2010

OOH Lincoln manager Rod Wilson was delighted with his team's performance after they defeated Sheffield Wednesday 3-1 to reach the Fifth Round of the F.A.Women's Cup.

The Lady Imps had trailed 1-0 at half time but a second half double from Leandra Little, plus a Jodie Michalska goal, earned them the victory and a step closer towards reaching the quarter final stage for the third year in succession.

"We played some very good football today," he said. "We missed a lot of chances, we could have been 3-0 up at half time if some of those chances had gone in - but the players stuck at it, didn't drop their heads and played with patience.

"All this paid off and we deservedly got our win and look forward to playing the winner of the Blackburn v Fulham Fourth Round tie."
