Midland Combination
For the second time in three weeks, Coventry City tightened their grip at the top of the table by picking up a victory in the only match to be played.

On Sunday they recorded a 2-1 victory against Rotherham Utd which means that they have gone eleven points clear of second placed Sporting Club Albion.

Coventry took the lead on the half hour when Emily Hanson headed from in a Helen Dermody corner. Three minutes into the second half, Dermody herself got on the scoresheet with a powerful finish from a through ball by Robyn James. Rotherham hit back straight away with Helen Lynskey scoring via a 20-yard free kick but Coventry held on to pick up three vital points.

South West Combination
In the only match to go ahead on Sunday, Forest Green Rovers moved into fifth place in the table by scoring eight without reply against Swindon Town.

Laura Bray had a great day in front of goal for the Gloucestershire side as she netted five times and the tally was completed by Charlotte King, Kirsty Richardson and an own goal.

* No matches were played in the Northern and South East Combination on Sunday.
