WSL Player of the Month is Shaw thing
The winners of the Barclays Women’s Super League’s monthly awards for December have now been confirmed.
Voted for by a combination of the public and a panel of industry experts, the successful individuals for the final month of 2025 are as follows. 
Firstly, Manchester City’s Khadija ‘Bunny’ Shaw has been named as Player of the Month after a scintillating December in sky blue to round off the year.
The Jamaican scored a historic 100th goal in all competitions for City to become the first female player to reach a century for the club in the professional era, while she notched four times against Aston Villa and twice against Leicester City – coupled with an assist.
The striker saw off the challenge of her teammate Vivianne Miedema, Everton’s Honoka Hayashi, Tottenham Hotspur’s Olivia Holdt, Liverpool’s Beata Olsson and Arsenal’s Olivia Smith.
Manager of the Month meanwhile has been awarded to Shaw’s manager, Andrée Jeglertz, who makes it a hat-

Finally, Shekiera Martinez’s effort against Manchester United has been voted as Goal of the Month.
Olivia Smith (v Liverpool and Everton), Dominique Janssen (v West Ham United), Katie McCabe (v Everton), Honoka Hayashi (v Arsenal), Sandy Baltimore (v Brighton) and Ella Toone (v Tottenham Hotspur) were also in contention, but the German striker’s impressive bicycle kick came out on top in the voting polls.
