Parc y Scarlets to host key game

Parc y Scarlets, Llanelli will host Wales’ key FIFA Women’s World Cup Qualifying Round match against France on Friday 8th April (KO time TBC).

Wales go into the match against the group leaders in second place, with four wins, one draw and one loss in the group so far. The match will be the third time Gemma Grainger’s side will play in Parc y Scarlets for the campaign and will look to build on last November’s attendance where more than 4,000 fans saw them beat Greece 5-0.

Tickets will go on sale for the match on Wednesday 16th February at faw.cymru/tickets, with discounts available for grassroots clubs and group bookings.

“To come back to Llanelli is exciting,” said Gemma Grainger. “The last home game there against Greece was incredible because of how the fans came out and supported us, even with the horrendous weather that night.

“We want to make sure that we build on the attendance records that have been set so far this campaign and that we continue to build on the growing fan base that plays such a huge part in our success as a team.”
