Wales name Under-17 squad


Loren Dykes has named a 24-player squad for Wales Under-17’s forthcoming double header against Scotland in north Wales.


Wales’ first match against Scotland will take place at Denbigh Town on Tuesday 8th February (6pm), with the second match taking place four days later at Colliers Park on Friday 11th February (12pm).


Seven players have been selected from the Genero Adran Leagues, whilst several other players are involved in the FAW Trust’s Academy system.


The matches will prepare the side for their 2022 UEFA Womnen’s Under-17 Euros Qualifying Round 2 matches in March. Wales will face hosts Armenia, Turkey and Latvia in League B as they push for promotion ahead of next year’s competition.
