Emirates Stadium to host more matches

Arsenal are delighted to announce that Emirates Stadium will host at least six Arsenal Women matches during the forthcoming 2022-23 season.

Building on the success of the 2021-22 campaign, when the Gunners’ first team played four games at Emirates Stadium in front of tens of thousands of fans, the intention is to host a further three Barclays FA Women’s Super League fixtures at the stadium.

In addition to this, subject to their result in Round 2 of UEFA Women’s Champions League qualifying, they also plan to play all three UWCL group stage fixtures at Emirates Stadium.

“On behalf of the whole team at Arsenal Women, I would like to thank all our fans for their support during the 2021-22 season,” said Head Coach Jonas Eidevall, commenting on the news.  “The backing we received both at Meadow Park and Emirates Stadium was unbelievable. Whether you sit in the stands or are playing in the match, we are all part of one team – one family. That’s what makes this club so special. It’s wonderful news that we will be returning to Emirates Stadium for more games next year and we can’t wait to see our fans there and at Meadow Park very soon.”

Current Arsenal Women Season Ticket Holders will be invited to renew their Season Tickets from mid-July, following the release of the WSL fixture schedule.

The 2022-23 Arsenal Women Season Ticket will provide access to all 11 home matches in the WSL, including the three matches at Emirates Stadium. Season Tickets will also include two cup fixtures – the UWCL Round 2 qualifying match and their first domestic cup clash of the season.

This year, for the first time ever, Gold Season Ticket Holders for the Men’s First Team will be able to purchase a bolt-on giving them access to tickets for the six Arsenal Women matches at the Emirates Stadium.
