Wales 0 Finland 4 Wales' Algarve Cup tournament ended in defeat when they were beaten 4-0 by Finland in their Group Final. The Finns took an early lead but Wales came closest to equalising when they were a goal down, Liverpool striker Cheryl Foster was clean through on goal but her shot was saved. The Welsh team tired during the closing stages and conceded three goals in the last 15 minutes, being caught by the Finns on the break whilst committed to attack.
