![]() 30-year-old Lynsey, a Newcastle Police Officer has had two spells at Newcastle, returning last season after a period playing in America. A dynamic ball playing midfielder, Lynsey will bring class and experience into the Bay midfield. Lynsey is delighted to have joined Whitley Bay and says: "At this stage in my career, I just want to play football and I have been gripped by Whitley's progress over the past two years and want to be part of their development." In addition to Lynsey, other newcomers are North Shields youngsters Kirsty Haddock and Laurel Davidson, young Tynemouth keeper Laura Wilson, Louanne Gascoigne, who signed from Killingworth, Jo Suddes who is new to the sport and Sherrie McDougal who has played for Newcastle, Blyth Spartans and Durham. Whitley Bay manager Colin Phillips is delighted with the squad, saying: "I was pleased to retain all of last year's squad and the new faces we have added will strengthen us. We can't wait for the new season to start."
