The Essex County Womens Football League held their AGM on Tuesday evening and their constitution for the 2007-08 season was announced. West Bergholt and Hutton were accepted into the league while Colchester Town have resigned. Name changes of clubs were as follows: Basildon United have now become Rayleigh Raiders while Concord Rangers have moved across to the vacant position at Basildon to become Basildon United Women. Perry Street are now known as Hannakins Farm. Billericay Town have accepted promotion up the pyramid to the Eastern Region League while AFC Sudbury have moved across to the Suffolk League.
