![]() Corinthian Casuals recently completed a highly successful season by beating Tottenham Hotspur Res 1-0 in the League Cup Final at Bedfont FC. This gave them the "double" having already won Division Two South of the Greater London League by five points from Surbiton Town. "I am so proud of their achievements this year," said Patsy Pepperrell, Ladies Football Co-ordinator. "Despite having their manager leave them in mid-season they played for each other and their club, winning their division and the League Cup. "Next season will be more exciting as I would like to announce the appointment of our new manager for the coming season, ex-Charlton Athletic goalkeeper Toni-Anne Wayne." Toni-Anne said: "I have been watching this team play and I know they will go far. The ladies have great potential - I admire their spirit and I wanted to be part of it. Winning the double was a fantastic achievement and I hope I can help them progress even further which, with their winning mentality, ability and team spirit, I feel Corinthian Casuals can win more medals next season."
