Northamptonshire-based club Woodford United are set to reform their ladies team next season. Forced to disband their Female side just 12 months ago and relinquish their place in the East Midlands League, the village team - based on the Northamptonshire/Oxfordshire county Border at Woodford Halse in South Northamptonshire - are about restart their ladies team and will be entering Division Two of the Northamptonshire County Women's League next season, a league they won back in 2003-04. The Club is currently looking to recruit new players, especially strikers, ahead of the new 2007-08 season. Training is on Wednesday nights at Woodford United's Byfield Road headquarters between 7.30pm and 9pm. Woodford United Ladies are on the look out for new, returning or existing players, aged 16 or over, of all abilities.The Football Club has excellent playing and social facilities at its Non League Byfield Road venue.
