Arsenal given home start
 Women's Football News 8 Jul 2007

Arsenal given home start - 8 Jul 2007 - Women's Football NewsChampions Arsenal are at home to Leeds Utd on the opening day of the FA Tesco Women's Premier League season on 19 August.

Everton travel to Chelsea in arguably the game of the day whilst Bristol Academy take on troubled Charlton Athletic. Newly promoted Watford host Birmingham City and Liverpool are away to Doncaster Rovers Belles. However the National Division fixtures may well be subject to confirmation due to the forthcoming World Cup in China.

In the Northern Division, Sheffield Wednesday's return to life in the Premier League begins with a trip to Aston Villa and fellow newcomers Rotherham Utd are also away, to Stockport County. Lincoln City, pipped at the post in the title race, travel to Tranmere Rovers and Sunderland's challenge to regain their top flight status begins at home to Manchester City.

Colchester Utd's debut in the Southern Division sees them go to Crystal Palace whilst Newquay face a tough baptism away to Millwall Lionesses. Keynsham Town host Portsmouth whilst Bristol City, another club to have faced a difficult summer, are at home to West Ham Utd.
