Cardiff City left for Croatia to compete in the UEFA Women's Cup with the best wishes and a kit sponsorship deal for the competition from local company '4 U Recruitment' of Rhondda Cynon Taff.
Welsh under-19 international and Cardiff midfielder Kelly Isaac, an employee of the company, is being sponsored to go to Croatia by the companies management team, with Kelly commenting: "4 U Recruitment are thoughly behind our European campaign with everyone in the company being so supportive of us. It's great that our achievements are recognised by such a forward thinking company."
4 U Recruitment's Managing Director Nigel Lewis stated: "We wish Kelly and all the girls the best of luck for the tournament, and it is great to be involved with Wales' top women's club. We are always happy to put something back into the local community and are really inspired by this progressive club."
Cardiff's squad which departed for Croatia included promising young midfielder Jordan Frayne, a member of the club's successful under-16 team from last season, as well as new signings Lauren Townsend, who joins from Pontardawe Town, and striker Kate Roberts from Bristol City.
Club Coach Michele Adams said of her teams preparation: "The girls have worked tremendously hard over the past couple of months for the tournament. Our main concern is that two of our games are scheduled for a mid-afternoon kick off and will therefore have to contend with the heat, but I really hope that this commitment will pay off during the week."
