Now settled into their new home at Tadcaster Albion's ground, The Park, Leeds United Ladies' season has been delayed due to the participation of Sue Smith and Carly Telford in England's World Cup squad. Playing in the League is what we do week in, week out, and all the players are looking forward to some good, competitive games in the next few weeks as we get our own programme back on-track." "Leanne Hall and I are looking forward to the new season but are both nervous and excited but looking forward to a new chapter in the club's history. We have an idea of our starting eleven but it is up to the other players to change our minds between now and the first game, we want competition for places throughout the team." Tickets for the game at Tadcaster cost £4 for adults, £2 for children.7.30pm kick offs. Season tickets are also available, and full details and directions can be found on the club web site at www.leedsunitedladies.com. "Playing in China was amazing," said Leeds forward Sue Smith, "and we know from the viewing figures that there was a lot of interest in the women's game. Let's hope we can keep that interest going - we've had good crowds and a great atmosphere at evening games in previous seasons, so it would be great to see a big crowd at Tadcaster on the 11th."
