Southampton University are through to the Final of the Hampshire County Cup for the first time after beating Shanklin in a penalty shootout.
After the match finished goalless following extra time, University goalkeeper Emily Bourne, who had saved two spot kicks in a previous round against Andover New Street, followed this up with three more stops as her side triumphed 4-1 from the spot.
The other semi final also saw a shock result as AFC Bournemouth defeated Premier League side Portsmouth 1-0. The two teams had met at the same stage last season, with Pompey winning 10-0, but this time it was the Cherries' day and captain Lisa Langrish scored the only goal of the game in the dying minutes with a diving header.
