Millwall Lionesses took the runners-up position in the Southern Division with a 2-0 victory away to Keynsham Town. Amy Mason and Angela Kiobel scored the goals which mean that the Lionesses finish in their highest position since they were relegated from the top flight in 2001. Barnet had started the day in second place but their chances were ended as they were beaten 2-1 at home by Newquay, for whom Annie Richards and Leanne Lapham were on target. Portsmouth are all but certain to finish in fourth after they ran out 4-1 winners away to West Ham Utd. A double from Brooke Chaplen, plus goals from Jen Osmond and Fiona McMillan, saw Pompey end the Hammers' run of three straight victories and leapfrog them in the table. | ||||||||||
