Long Lane Girls under-15s completed their fourth treble in five years with a 5-0 win over Valley Park Rangers in the Kent Cup Final on Sunday at Cobdown Sports Club.

Their victory over a strong Valley Park Rangers side was as convincing as the scoreline suggests. They also missed at least five other chances and though they were tested at the back a few times, ran out comfortable winners.

Long Lane's goals came from Ria Collins (2), Billie Jones, Shauni Griffiths and Catherine Lee, who kept up her amazing final record of scoring in every final that she has appeared in since under-10 level. Long Lane have also won the Kent Girls League Under-15 Division title and the London FA Youth Cup this season.

Of the team that played on Sunday, seven girls have been with the team since they were under-11s. Unfortunately Long Lane Youth, who played Meridian in the Tina Marshall Final, were beaten but Long Lane Under-10s won to make it another fantastic season for all concerned at the club.
