Scotland Coach Anna Signeul has announced her squad for the crunch game against Ukraine on 28th May. The game at McDiarmid Park, Perth, is one of the most crucial that Scotland have faced in the past four years. A win would put the team in a great position to reach the play offs for a place in the UEFA Women's Championships in Finland next year. Scotland are currently third in the Group Five table with seven points from six matches, five points behind second placed Ukraine and eight adrift of group leaders Denmark. Anna Signeul told www.scottishfa.co.uk: "This is a huge game for us. The players know that a win would put us in a great position to qualify for the Euros. "The team has played really well over the spring, particularly in the 4-1 away win over Portugal, and hopefully we can build on that. Ukraine are a great side, and myself and the whole squad are looking forward to the game. It will be a challenge, but if we want to progress at international level we must prove ourselves against the best teams." The squad includes seven players from the Hibernian team that lifted the Unite Scottish FA Cup with a 3-1 win over Celtic on Saturday. The Hibs players are in the middle of a hectic domestic schedule, having played four games in the last nine days, and face a top of the table clash against Glasgow City three days before the Ukraine game. Anna commented: "We're coming to the end of the domestic league season, and many of the players are going through a very tough period. But they enjoy the challenge, and hopefully the full squad will remain fit ahead of this massive international game." Scotland squad:
