Doncaster Rovers Belles beat holders Watford 1-0 in the final of the FA Umbro Futsal 2008 tournament staged over the course of the weekend at the English institute of Sport in Sheffield.
Captain Vicky Exley scored the winner in the second half of the 15 minute each way games, while fellow team mate Tanya Rich finished as top scorer.
The success was more notable for the fact that the Belles only came into the competition as a late replacement and had never played Futsal before the weekend.
The beaten semi-finalists were Bino United and The New Saints, with the former winning the third/fourth place match.
The fair play award went to Yeovil Town, while Rushden & Diamonds' Vicky Gallagher won the Player of the Tournament award. Watford's Marie Hourihan was voted as top goalkeeper.
