The Cornwall League has been renamed as the Amity Cornwall Women's Football League, the change coming about due to sponsor Abdul Salam's new ownership of the Amity Indian restaurant in Redruth. The format of the league for 2008-09 has been decided and, because last season's top four sides (Torpoint Athletic, Bude Town, Launceston and Saltash Utd) were all promoted to the South West League, the number of divisions has been reduced to two. St Breward and Hayle were promoted to Division One, in addition to Falmouth Town and Roche. The remainder will play in Division Two which includes newcomers Charlestown, who will play at Sticker F.C. Neither Newmoor Rovers or Wadebridge Town entered, although the latter will continue training and playing friendlies. The league constitution is as follows:
