The side from the Northern Division have more than proved their Cup credentials this season, winning the E.ON Team of the Round award for the second consecutive time after coming from two goals behind to defeat top flight Bristol Academy 4-2 in the Sixth Round Proper. Following the presentation, Sunderland captain Stephanie Bannon was obviously delighted with the award and said: "To defeat a Premier League side of Chelsea's quality by three goals is a fantastic achievement. "No-one outside the club gave us a chance against Chelsea but the girls were excellent and thoroughly deserve their place in the Final. I would like to thank E.ON for presenting us with this award." Sunderland will now turn their attention to the FA Women's Cup Final, on 04 May at Pride Park, where opposition Arsenal will aim to regain their title in what promises to be a fascinating spectacle.
