Plymouth Argyle are delighted to announce the signing of Emma White, a Welsh international defender who has recently returned from America.

Emma, at 5' 10", may well be an imposing figure in the Argyle defence as she is very much the modern athletic style of player.

Before moving to America she had a couple of seasons in the Premier League and represented Wales at junior and under-19 level. The experience gained stateside will stand her in good stead and only a foot injury saw her premature return home.

Argyle manager Chris Benham said: "To say I'm a tad pleased, is really understating my delight at signing Emma. Once she is fully fit she will be a great addition to our squad."
