Eight new teams have been added to the Essex County League constitution for the 2009-10 season.
 
Barking Res, Billericay Town Res, East Thurrock Utd, Foxash, Harwich & Parkeston, Shrimperzone, Southend and Tigers were all voted in while Loughton Academy have changed their name to Boca.
 
Leaving the league are last season's Champions Hannakins who are moving up the pyramid into the Eastern Region League while Cornard are moving across into their parent County League in Suffolk.
