London FA is pleased to announce that they are running two festivals for female beginners in the summer.
In partnership with Lambeth Sports and Recreation Unit and Nacro Female Football Development project, the festivals will take place from 11am-2pm on the 25th July at Ferndale Recreation Centre, Brixton and on the 22nd August at Wandle Recreation Centre, Wandsworth.
The aim of the two days is to bring together female footballers aged 16+ who are not currently playing competitive football and have just started playing or are perhaps coming back into the game after a break. The festivals will be 5-a-side and will take place in friendly and well located facilities, the cost to enter the team is just £20 per festival.
Emma Barnes, Women's & Girls FDO for London FA, says: "These festivals are a fantastic opportunity to come together and play some friendly matches against women from all over London. It is a chance to gain some experience in a game environment. It is also really great that we are working in partnership with organisations that are keen to develop the female game."
If you would like more information on these festivals or to request a booking form, please contact firstname.lastname@example.org or (07921) 050375.
