![]() The Blues will be hoping to build upon their fifth place finish last season and are targeting the same position as well as a good run in the cup competitions this time around. Manager Stuart Wilson has strengthened his side by bringing in Kerry Bartlett, Jemma Rose and Kerrie Manley from Bristol Academy, Danni Saulter joins from Coventry City and Watford's Mikaela Howell has also signed. Wolverhampton Wanderers goalkeeper Naomi Bruton has been drafted in as back up to Sue Wood. Pre-season has been encouraging with wins over West Ham Utd and Barnet but a defeat to OOH Lincoln, although all have been warm up games with new signings and reserve players as the squad returns from holidays and international duties. Dudley Holloway and Nick Pearce have taken over the reserve team for this season and they too have had some good warm up matches, ready for their September start to the season.
