Cardiff City were denied their first victory of the season as a fightback from Keynsham Town ensured their Southern Division clash ended in a 3-3 draw.
In windy conditions, Cardiff raced into a two-goal lead inside the opening ten minutes, Zoe Atkins putting them in front before Terri Beddows added the second from a corner. Keynsham pulled a goal back shortly before half time with a strike from Leanne Lapham - her first for the club after her move from Truro City.
Six minutes into the second half, Cardiff restored their two-goal advantage as Lisa Bird kept up her recent good form with the third goal but, with the wind at their backs, Keynsham were to get themselves back into the game.
Firstly, a good run and cross from Katarzyna Rusek saw Ashley Reinecke finish from close range and Tanja Andjelkovic ensured that her side would return across the Severn Bridge with a point under their belts when she scored the equaliser from a long range free kick.
