Barnet's special guest! - 20 Dec 2009 - Women's Football NewsBarnet FC Ladies had a special guest at their training session on Tuesday with a visit from England manager Fabio Capello. 
 
The England manager was guest of honour at the official opening of Barnet FC new 44-acre Training complex called The Hive in Edgware, Middlesex. The site has two floodlit 3rd generation pitches, ten grass pitches and plans are in place to build a stadium on the site which will become home for Barnet FC Ladies.
 
Tracey Kevins, Barnet manager, said: "We were extremely proud to be asked by Barnet FC to put on a training session to celebrate the official opening of the club's new Training centre. It has been our base for the last four months and has certainly contributed to our positive start to the first half of the season."
 
This positive start has seen the Bees top the Southern Division of the FA Tesco Women's Premier League by three points and progress into the Fourth round of the F.A.Women's Cup.
