England have held firm at eighth in the latest FIFA Women's World Rankings list to be published. Scotland move up one place to 24th - their highest ever position in the rankings - and there is also good news for Wales as they return back up a place to 49th. Northern Ireland meanwhile have made an advancement of six and now sit in 63rd. There is no change in the top eight positions with the United States keeping top spot ahead of Germany, Brazil following on in third. The next rankings list will be announced in March 2010.
