Sheffield Wednesday would like to thank local businessman, Arnie Singh, for his kind donation to the club. Arnie, who is director of Sheffield City Taxis had already established a good working relationship with the Football in the Community Team, made the donation just before the end of the year. Chairman Jeff Maslin commented: "Without companies and local businessman like Arnie, women's football at this level just would not survive. It costs thousands to keep a club like SWWFC going and that is truly no exaggeration. Arnie is going to get our minibus - kindly donated by Football in the Community - sign written so the name of Sheffield City Taxis can be seen nationwide."
