A late goal earned Blackburn Rovers a 1-0 victory away to Birmingham City and guaranteed the Lancashire side a mid-table finish in the National Division. Danielle Sheen scored the only goal of the game with five minutes remaining and Rovers end their campaign on Sunday with an important game at home to Everton, who need to win to take the runners-up position. In the Northern Division, third placed Leicester City battled out a 1-1 draw with Aston Villa. Katie McLoughlin gave Leicester an eleventh minute lead, before Villa hit back in the second half and earned themselves a share of the spoils with a goal from Kim Farrow.
