 Sawtry Colts were chosen to be Ball Girls at Arsenal's recent Premier League match against Leeds Carnegie at the Emirates Stadium, in which Arsenal were 3-0 winners.Trip organiser Steve Purnell wanted all the girls to look the part when they visited and put out an appeal for a sponsor to provide the girls with matching apparel for the visit to the Emirates. Following the request, Chroma Sports and Trophies very kindly offered to kit all the girls out in matching hoodies and even added custom embroidery for the occasion. The girls arrived at the Stadium am 6pm and were met by Daniel Quy who manages the ball boys/girls for all home games at the Emirates. The girls were taken to their own dressing room and Daniel gave them a quick coaching session on how to be a good ball girl, then as the Arsenal and Leeds ladies were warming up the girls got to make their entrance to the field of play by running down the players tunnel. At the end of the match the girls got to see Arsenal presented with the Premier League trophy from the side of the pitch and then enjoyed a walk back down the tunnel with the defeated Leeds Carnegie players.
