![]() The team was formed three seasons ago but this season has seen many new faces join the team (many of whom had not played club football before) with the players gelling instantly and having a successful season on and off the field. The girls have worked consistently hard in training and continued to improve as the season went on. This season, thirteen girls have worked really hard to win places in this 7-a-side team and have all played a part in their success. The girls' football has been a joy to watch as they travelled to venues all across Cornwall including Penzance and Culdrose, supported by a dedicated group of parents, without whose help, Liskeard would not have been able to do what they have this season. This season the girls have been in a big league, playing against some very established teams in the Cornish girls scene but have really held their own and are looking forward to using the experience they have gained next season. The girls have also helped the development of new teams by giving St. Breward and Wadebridge girls their first ever friendlies. Coaches Ian Woodhouse and Adam Sibley were also commended for the ethos they have brought to the team and the way they coach as they continue to try and provide the best environment possible for girls in the local area to enjoy the game and become the best footballers they possibly can be.
