![]() First player to sign for the new season was captain Amanda Goodwin, the two times player of the season's signature is a massive boost for the club with several other clubs chasing her. Along with 'AJ's signing, the majority of last season's squad has also re-signed including Player's Player of the Season and vice captain Kellie Leyland, as well as Young Player of the Season, Jodie Redgrave. President Sheila Crompton and Chairlady Heather Bellingham were delighted with the return of the first team squad and the way they have committed so early for next season. All the girls are glad to be back and are setting their sights on a positive season ahead. Meanwhile, Curzon are pleased to announce that Reg Standish will be taking the reserve team manager's role for the new season. An experienced coach who has years of coaching knowledge, qualified to UEFA B, Reg has set up and run football teams at different age groups and levels. He is a full time football development officer in Liverpool and has set up several community football projects. Reg has been impressed with the Curzon set up and is looking forward to the season ahead. He is hoping to help develop the young players at the club and push these players to challenge for first team places. Assisting Reg will be Paul Cocks, a young coach who wants to learn and develop with the club and also helping with coaching for other teams within the club. Paul is a qualified coach and referee and can't wait for the new season to start.
