Sue signs on at Lincoln - 5 Aug 2010 - Women's Football NewsSue Smith has become the third England international to sign for Lincoln Ladies this week, after the winger joined the Lady Imps from Leeds Carnegie.
 
Sue helped Leeds to FA Women's Premier League Cup glory last season and has represented her country 87 times, scoring 14 goals. She joins former Leeds team mates Sophie Bradley and Jess Clarke at Lincoln as Rod Wilson's charges prepare to challenge in the FA Women's Super League, which launches in March 2011.
 
"Signing Smith is a tremendous coup for the club," said Wilson.
 
"She'll be instrumental in shaping our future both on and off the field with her extensive experience and knowledge of football and the set up of the women's game. We are starting to build a very young and exciting squad and Sue will add much needed experience for the forthcoming campaign.
