In a hastily arranged fixture, Plymouth Argyle made the relatively short trip to Falmouth Town for a pre-season encounter. On a baking hot afternoon in the Duchy, both teams put in put in great effort to turn on an entertaining afternoon, with a superior Argyle side running out comfortable winners by 16-1. Goals from Tash Knapman, with five, Rachel Javan who hit four, hat-tricks from Kat Marment and new signing Ellis Hillman plus a great srike from teenager Steph Venn ensured that Plymouth were in buoyant mood for the trip home.
