Enfield Town kick off the new season in the South East Combination with a home game against Cambridge Women this Sunday and they will be aiming to finish higher than the second place that they have achieved for the last two seasons.

Luton Town and Gillingham are the sides that have pipped Enfield to the title and manager John Abbott said: "We have sadly lost a few players from last term as they have moved on to other clubs or further education but the new additions to the squad look strong enough to take us on.

"It would have been nice to have kept the team together to see if they could fulfil their potential but we must move ourselves on and I feel that it will be a good season."
