Swansea City ensured that they returned home on a winning note as they completed their UEFA Women's Champions League qualifying group by beating Baia Zugdidi 2-1. The Swans suffered an early setback as Lela Chichinadze put the Georgian side in front in the fourth minute but they responded quickly, captain Natalie Ashford levelling the scores from the penalty spot. Four minutes later, Lindsay Morgan gave Swansea the lead for the first time and they held out to record an excellent victory which means they will finish in third place in their group.
