Celtic hold on to the leadership of the Scottish Women's Premier League following a 5-0 win away to Forfar Farmington. Suzanne Grant was on target twice for the Hoops with Joanne Love, Christie Murray and Kirsty McBride adding the other goals to keep Celtic three points clear. Glasgow City returned to league action with a 6-1 victory over Boroughmuir Thistle to stay hot on Celtic's heels in second place. Eilish McSorley, Leanne Ross, Lisa Evans, Sue Lappin and Laura Montgomery netted one apiece along with an own goal, Kirsty McLaughlin replying for Boroughmuir. A 5-1 success away to Hamilton Academicals keeps Hibernian in third place. Hayley Cunningham led the scoring with a hat-trick, Suzy Robertson and Joelle Murray also finding the net with the home side's consolation coming from a Lindsay Hogg penalty. Diana Barry bagged a six-goal haul as Spartans crushed struggling Dundee Utd SC 21-0. Trisha McLaughlin weighed in with five and Sarah Ewens added four, while the other goals came via Claire Crosbie (2), Molly McKean, Louise Young, Hayley Lauder and Stacey McLean. Rangers also ran up double figures, netting ten without reply past FC Kilmarnock. Cheryl Gallacher and Lana Clelland each netted twice along with Danica Dalziel, Louise Mason, Louise Magilton, Lesley McMaster, Lisa Swanson and Michaela Brown. Inverness narrowly won 3-2 away to Aberdeen, who are still seeking their first victory of the season.
