Glasgow City gained revenge for their midweek Unite Scottish Cup semi final defeat to Hibernian by beating them 6-0 in their Scottish Women's Premier League meeting. Katharina Lindner and Ruesha Littlejohn each scored twice, with one apiece from Rachel Corsie and Leanne Ross to leave City three points clear at the top with two games left to play, although second placed Celtic - who did not play - have a game in hand. The two teams are set to meet in a title showdown next Sunday. Spartans strengthened their claims for a top three finish by scoring twelve without reply against FC Kilmarnock. Diana Barry and Hayley Lauder both bagged hat-tricks, Sarah Ewens weighed in with a double and the tally was completed by Claire Crosbie, Bobbie Beveridge and two own goals. Forfar Farmington climbed into fifth place on the back of a 4-0 success at Aberdeen, thanks to a goal apiece from Eilidh Reid, Rebecca Dempster, Nicky Wright and Julia Scott. The win takes Forfar above Hamilton Academicals who were beaten 3-2 at home by Inverness, despite goals from Helen Templeton and Sarah Crilly. Boroughmuir Thistle recorded their best victory of the season to date, 6-1 away to Dundee Utd SC. Emma Stewart netted twice for Thistle along with Alana Marshall, Kirsty McLaughlin, Tammi Kerr and Fiona Woods with Stacey Williamson replying for the home side.
