Glasgow City went three points clear at the top of the Scottish Women's Premier League following a crushing 8-0 victory over second placed Hibernian.
The two teams went into the match sporting 100% records and Hibs were fresh from their League Cup Final triumph in midweek but the dual Cup holders were brought crashing down to earth as Lisa Evans and Leanne Ross netted twice for City, with the others coming from Christie Murray, Eilish McSorley, Emma Mitchell and Katharina Lindner.
Third placed Celtic also went down to their first defeat of the season, beaten 1-0 by Forfar Farmington. Kelly Clark scored the only goal of the game to take Forfar back into fourth, one point behind their opponents.
Hutchison Vale picked up their first point of the season with a notable 1-1 draw against Spartans. Michelle Russell was on target for Hutchie, with Spartans replying through Claire Crosbie.
Hamilton Academicals kept up their improving form, courtesy of a 4-0 win away to FC Kilmarnock. Gill Inglis bagged a double for the Accies, along with Toni Mason and Cheryl McCulloch.
Inverness City won for the second week in succession as they edged out Falkirk by the odd goal in five. Natalie Bodium, Kim Jappy and Zoe Johnstone scored the goals to give Inverness the points, with two own goals in reply for the home side.
