Women's Football News
Glasgow City proudly presented the club to a UEFA Study Group and carried out a coaching session under their watchful gaze, in a demonstration of the elite level of Scottish women's football.
The UEFA Study Group is a technical exchange programme which allows UEFA's 53 member national associations to discuss and share knowledge on topics such as coach education, grassroots, elite youth football and the women's game.
City were approached by the Scottish FA to present to the most recent study group from UEFA which consisted of representatives from countries such as Poland, Finland and the Faroe Islands. Glasgow City Chairperson Carol Anne Stewart presented Glasgow City to the group in a power point demonstration and open discussion, highlighting the club's success both on and off the park in recent years and what is done to achieve it.
Head Coach, Eddie Wolecki Black then put on a coaching session for the delegates utilising the Championship winning first team.
