Plymouth warm up with win
 Women's Football News 2 Aug 2011
Premier League newcomers Plymouth Argyle continued their pre-season friendlies with a victory away to Falmouth Town.
Included in the Argyle squad were four new signings, defensive duo Georgia Coles and Jamey Symons as well as strikers Heidi Davies and Anusia Rourke. There was also a first appearance for trialist keeper Becky Kyle.
Argyle totally dominated the first half, playing attractive football that at times overwhelmed their opponents and went into the break with a healthy 9-1 lead. Steve Phelps' side continued to dominate in the second half, despite a spirited effort from their hosts, and ran out 13-2 winners.
Emily Mousley led the scoring for Plymouth with a four-goal haul and Steff Beck weighed in with a hat-trick. Bow Jackson and Anusia Rourke each netted twice and the tally was completed by Leanne Griffiths and Rebecca McMullin.
