The top two in the Scottish Women's Premier League both picked up convincing victories on a day affected by the weather.
Two of the five scheduled matches were postponed but leaders Glasgow City powered on with an 8-1 win over Hutchison Vale. Katharina Lindner and Joanne Love each scored twice and there was one apiece from Christie Murray, Leanne Ross, Emma Mitchell and Jane Ross with Nicola Russell replying for Hutchie.
Second placed Hibernian also scored eight times against Inverness to stay within six points of the leadership. Hayley Cunningham and Laura Kennedy both bagged doubles and they were joined on the scoresheet by Rebecca Dempster, Hollie Thomson, Claire Emslie and Natalie Ross.
In the other game to go ahead, Celtic closed in on the top three as Jackie Seagrave and Mairead Fulton gave them a 2-1 win over Hamilton Academicals, who found the net through Lynsey Hogg.
