East Midlands League
Mansfield Town recorded the biggest win of the day in the Premier Division on the opening day. Charlotte Montgomery scored a hat-trick with Kelly Clayton (2), Stacey Bridge and Lucy Webster adding the others as Mansfield defeated Shepshed Dynamo 7-1. Shelley Smith also bagged a treble, with Tracey Marriott also on the scoresheet for Market Warsop in their 4-2 victory over newly promoted Rise Park. Barlestone St Giles won 2-0 at Long Eaton Utd, courtesy of a Kirstie Deacon brace, whilst Daventry Town started well by beating Gedling Town 3-2, goals coming from Jessica Holley (2) and Kerry Luckett. Peterborough Northern Star meanwhile opened up with a 2-1 success at Sandiacre Town.
Tara Capon led the scoring with a hat-trick as Nettleham netted ten without reply against Mansfield Town Res in Division One North. Leanne Woodhead added with a double with one apiece from Tana Vengrinova, Aimee Hardy, Ashlyn Mester and Amy Compton. Sarah Smith, Maria Burns and Sam Hallam scored the goals for Steel City Wanderers as they won 3-0 away to Lincoln Development. Appleby Froddingham, on their debut in the league, made a good impact with a 3-1 success at Arnold Town thanks to Louise Langton, Rebecca Beighton and Nadia Ballantyne.
In Division One South, newcomers Ilkeston Town are the opening leaders after Charlotte Worth's hat-trick spearheaded an 8-0 victory over Oadby & Wigston Dynamo. Georgina Williams (2), Chloe Hutsby, Jasmine Harrison and Krysia Ellis completed the tally. Radcliffe Olympic Res scored six without reply past Barrowby and Raunds Town were 4-0 winners over Leicester City Fosse with goals from Hayleigh King, Laura Reed, Hayley Griffiths and Donna Norman. AFC Trinity won 3-0 at Ruddington Village with Lyndsey Kovacs hitting a hat-trick.
Eastern Region League
C & K Basildon are setting the early pace in the Premier Division after a Nicola Carty double and Charlie Dolby gave them a 3-1 victory over Peterborough. Bedford Ladies and Billericay Town follow on after their meeting ended level at 1-1, Sophie Smith netting for Bedford with Lisa Silverton replying. Barking had lost their victory the previous Sunday due to the resignation of Kettering Town but picked up another win, 2-1 over Braintree Town thanks to Vicky Bruce and Liane Prior. Rachel Gwilliam and Kristie Turner were on target as Woodbridge Town beat Thorpe Utd to record their first victory, as did Stevenage Borough with a 3-2 success at Arlesey Town, goals coming from Dominique Godbeer, Hayley Kemp and Nicola Perschsky.
Great Shelford are the opening day leaders in Division One North following their 7-0 success at Taverham. Alison Wright scored a hat-trick with others from Chloe Godleman, Louise Whitt, Charlotte Edwards and Shavaun Barnum. Haverhill Rovers sit in second place after Lisa McAllister (2), Sue Wells, Rachel Mann and Lisa Smith gave them a 5-1 win against Huntingdon Town. Jennifer Harrison, Gemma Farman, Luci Middleton and Leanne Gray all found the net for Norwich City Res in their 4-0 victory over Cambridge Women Res. Ipswich Wanderers and Fakenham Town shared four goals, Adele Forester and Tarnya McKew were on target for Ipswich with Fakenham replying through Kirstie Smith and Shelley Woods. Sophie Burr-Walpole and Charlotte Howard found the net for Brandon in their 2-2 draw with AFC Sudbury, whose goals were scored by Chloe Mills and Jodie Sharp.
Leanne Buchanan, Ashleigh Tuck and Eve Brindle all netted braces as Royston Town ran out 6-0 winners at East Thurrock Utd in Division One South. Chelmsford City started well, Lyndsey Bowman hitting a hat-trick and Emma Ridings the other two as they won 5-2 against Leverstock Green. Grace Clark bagged a hat-trick for Hannakins in their 3-1 victory over Hoddesdon Owls. Sawbridgeworth Town won 2-1 at Baldock Town thanks to Hayley Graham and Joanna Gregory and the match between Colchester Town and Hutton finished goalless.
London & South East League
On a very closely fought first day of the season, three teams jointly head the fledgling table after recording 2-1 victories. Crawley Wasps edged out Boreham Wood, Eastbourne Town won at Chichester City and Hemel Hempstead beat Westfield all by that scoreline whilst Panthers were 1-0 winners over Denham Utd. The other match finished all square with Maidstone Town and AFC Wimbledon sharing four goals.
North East League
The season opened up on Sunday with two matches in the League Cup. Hull City progressed through to the Second Round with a 3-0 win away to Sheffield Utd Junior Blades, whilst Hessle Town edged through via a 7-6 victory against league newcomers Keepmoat Stadium.
South West League
Exeter City announced their arrival in the Premier Division in some style as they ran out 7-1 winners over Stoke Lane Athletic. The other newly promoted team, Salisbury City, also started well with a 6-1 success away to Bristol Ladies Union. Nicky Barnes netted twice for Salisbury alongside Charlotte Hull, Laura Beal, Hayley Ranachan and Aneaka Reay. Marine Academy (Plymouth) started well by beating Cheltenham Town 4-0 thanks to Hayley Russell, Coral Smith, Kim Eke and an own goal. Philippa Holden netted four times and Bianca Randall the other as Weymouth ran out 5-2 winners over Frome Town and last season's runners-up Larkhall Athletic began with a victory, 2-1 over Oldland Abbotonians with goals from Carly Symons and Kelly Cripps.
* On Wednesday night, Larkhall Athletic won 3-0 at Frome Town thanks to a Kate German double and Cheryl Baber.
Forest Green Rovers recorded the biggest win of the day in Eastern Division One, 6-3 away to Bishop's Lydeard. Nailsea Utd take up second place after they defeated Swindon Spitfires 3-1 with Sally Graham, Lindsey Pilgrim and Julie Barry on target. Alana Willson and Kate Michaels netted the goals as Downend Flyers got off to a fine start, winning 2-1 at last season's runners-up Swindon Supermarine. Two of the newly promoted sides met each other at Cam Bulldogs and it was visitors Bridgwater Town who took the spoils by the odd goal in five thanks to Ami Ward, Anneka Russ and Charlotte Barnes. Megan Horrey and Melissa Davidson found the net as the other newcomers, Blandford Utd, also started well with a 2-2 draw away to Cleeve West Town for whom Charlie Grimes netted twice. Cirencester Town and Poole Town also shared four goals, Natalie Elliott and Faye Hawkins were on target for Poole.
Bude Town are the opening day leaders of Western Division One following an emphatic 10-2 victory over Taunton Town. Launceston made it an uncomfortable start for newcomers Dobwalls by beating them 5-0. Roche meanwhile edged out Morley Rangers 4-3 and Callington Town won 2-1 at Charlestown, goals coming from Anneliese Noakes and a Katy Sheffield penalty.
* On Tuesday evening, Falmouth Town opened up their season with a 12-0 victory against Charlestown.
