Bristol Academy are to play the home leg of their forthcoming UEFA Women's Champions League tie at Ashton Gate.
Academy have been drawn against FC Energiye Voronezh of Russia with the first leg being played at the home of Bristol City Football Club on Thursday 29 September (7.30pm).
The Vixens qualified for the first time in their history by virtue of reaching the F.A.Women's Cup Final and will become only the fourth English club to play in Europe following Arsenal, Fulham and Everton.
Voronezh are the most successful women's club in history in Russia, having won the title five times as well as reaching the quarter finals of the UEFA Women's Cup on two occasions.
