East Midlands League
Mansfield Town have extended their lead at the top to three points with a 9-2 victory over Gedling Town. Hannah Bodle and Donna Watts each scored twice, with the others from Georgianne Herring, Rebecca Braithwaite, Lucy Webster, Suzanne Gelson and Charlotte Montgomery. Peterborough Northern Star stay in second despite being held to a 2-2 draw by Long Eaton Utd, Samantha Woodham and Jade Ramm netting for 'Boro. Natalie Loughenbury, Lynne Thompson and Amy Pashley were all on target for Sandiacre Town as they defeated Shepshed Dynamo 3-2, whilst the match between Barlestone St Giles and Market Warsop ended goalless.
Things could hardly be closer in Division One North with the top eight teams all level on points! Nettleham hold onto the leadership despite not having a game, with Rolls Royce Leisure beating Lincoln Development 10-3 to move into second. West Bridgford began their campaign with an 8-1 victory over Mansfield Town Res. Grimsby Town defeated Steel City Wanderers 3-2 thanks to a Gemma Hopkin double and Gemma Charlton, whilst Danielle Pritchard (2) and Aimee Raynor ensured that Arnold Town also won 3-2 against Retford Utd.
A solitary goal from Bryna Holmes gave AFC Trinity a 1-0 victory over Ilkeston Town and sees her side jointly lead Division One South with Raunds Town, who won 2-1 at Oadby & Wigston Dynamo with Donna Norman and Leah Stacey on the scoresheet. Ruddington Village meanwhile claimed their first win of the season, 3-2 against Barrowby thanks to a Faye Brown hat-trick.
Eastern Region League
C & K Basildon took over at the top of the Premier Division after Carly Eagles and Nicola Carty scored twice, with Stacy Whitehead and Charlie Dolby rounding off a 6-1 win away to Braintree Town. Woodbridge Town and Billericay Town battled out a 1-1 draw with Stacey Teager and Lisa Silverton netting respectively, whilst goals from Rebecca Lake, Mary-Anne Hoy and Charlotte Groves gave Thorpe Utd their first victory of the season, 3-1 against Stevenage Borough.
Great Shelford kept up their winning run at the top of Division One North when beating Norwich City Res 5-1, Sarah Gee scoring twice along with Briannah Baker, Alison Wright and Becky Taylor. Laura McAllister (2), Stacey Spiers and Hannah Gordon netted the goals as Haverhill Rovers won 4-1 against Bungay Town to go second. Fakenham Town won for the first time, 4-3 over Cambridge Women Res thanks to Kirsty Scott, Shelley Woods, Francesca Walder and an own goal. Chloe Mills hit a hat-trick and Jodie Sharp the other as AFC Sudbury won 4-3 at Ipswich Wanderers and Taverham picked up their first victory, 4-0 over Huntingdon Town courtesy of a goal apiece from Rachel Howes, Victoria Keene, Fong Chung and Kelly Ayres.
Division One South leaders Chelmsford City won 4-0 away to Haringey Borough with goals from Jasmine Wheeler, Emma Wells, Leanne Stubbings and Mollie de Bell. Jacqueline Stott and Hayley Graham were on target as Sawbridgeworth Town stayed level on points with Chelmsford by winning 2-0 at Hoddesdon Owls. Colchester Town and Hannakins finished goalless and Michelle Smith scored both goals for Baldock Town in their 2-1 victory over Leverstock Green. Hutton won for the first time, 4-1 at Royston Town thanks to Amy Simmons (2), Nicole Farmer and Lucy Hudson.
London & South East League
Hemel Hempstead were 6-3 winners away to Crawley Wasps and are the new leaders of the Premier Division. Panthers had started the day on top of the table but they went down to a 3-2 defeat at the hands of Eastbourne Town, who sit in second place. Westfield moved into the top three by beating East Preston 8-2. Denham Utd and Chichester City shared the honours with a 2-2 draw whilst AFC Wimbledon and Wandgas finished level at 1-1. Maidstone Town meanwhile registered their first victory when defeating Boreham Wood 7-1.
North East League
Whitley Bay sit in top of the Premier Division as opening day leaders following an astonishing 12-8 victory against Hessle Town. Hull City won 3-1 over Scunthorpe Utd whilst St Francis 2000 and York City picked up 3-2 victories against Peterlee Town and Barnsley. Kathryn Mudge scored the only goal as Sheffield Utd Junior Blades won 1-0 at Guiseley whilst the match between Castleford White Rose and Sheffield Utd Community ended goalless.
In the Northern Division, Redcar Athletic occupy pole position following their 7-1 win away to Durham City. Birtley Phoenix defeated Norton & Stockton Ancients 4-0, Whitley Bay Res ran out 6-3 winners over Lumley and California Ladies beat Birtley Town 2-0.
Malet Lambert YC recorded the biggest win of the day in the Southern Division, scoring eight without reply past Ossett Albion. Wetherby Athletic meanwhile beat Bradford City A 8-1 and lie in second place. Rothwell Town defeated AFC Preston 6-1 whilst Keepmoat Stadium won 2-0 away to Lepton Highlanders with goals from Jenna Cresswell and Lynn Goodman.
North West League
Crewe Alexandra lead the Premier Division after the opening round of matches, they defeated Wigan Athletic 5-0. Chorley and Preston North End recorded 4-1 victories against Denton Town and Bury Girls & Ladies respectively. Newly promoted Blackpool were 2-0 winners at Bolton Wanderers and Burnley Girls & Ladies edged out Tranmere Rovers 2-1, whilst Chester City and Northwich Vixens battled out a 1-1 draw.
Blackpool Wren Rovers just missed out on promotion last season and they have started well this time around with a 7-0 victory over Southport Birkdale. Carlisle are immediately behind them after beating Warrington Town 6-0, whilst Penrith AFC returned from Morecambe with a 4-2 win. Honours were even at Leigh RMI who shared a 1-1 draw with Springfields (Preston).
City of Manchester lead the way in Division One South after a 9-0 success against Manchester Stingers. Macclesfield Town won 5-1 at Glossop North End to go into second, just ahead of Birkenhead who defeated Mossley Hill Res 4-0. Newcomers Manchester University began with a win, edging out Brazil by the odd goal in seven, whilst Liverpool Feds Res beat Winsford 2-1. AFC Urmston Meadowside and AFC Liverpool each had to settle for a point as they drew 3-3.
South West League
Three teams are setting the pace at the top of the Premier Division with maximum points from their opening four matches. Exeter City sit in top spot after beating Oldland Abbotonians 10-1, Lola Sanchez hitting a hat-trick and Helen Kukor a brace with the others coming from Naomi Wilkins, Carla Staddon, Kirsty Caunter, Natalie Shenton and Hannah Cox. Nicky Barnes, Charlotte Hull and Charlotte Eastman were all on target for Salisbury City in their 3-0 victory against Frome Town and are in second, just ahead of Larkhall Athletic who won 3-1 away to Marine Academy (Plymouth) thanks to a Toni Hemmings double and Tash Miller. Philippa Holden scored both goals for Weymouth in their 2-2 draw with Stoke Lane Athletic, who earned their first point of the season through Louise England and Jessica Morgan. Bristol Ladies Union won for the first time, 2-0 against Cheltenham Town thanks to Alicia Bravo and Sarah Lever.
Forest Green Rovers Res held on to the leadership of Eastern Division One with a 2-1 success at Cam Bulldogs, Sarah Haden and Sophie Okey scoring. Downend Flyers remain level in second place after Laura Baker, Carly Corcoran, Alana Willson and Kate Michaels gave them a 4-1 victory over Poole Town. Bridgwater Town won 6-0 at Blandford Utd to move into third with Cirencester Town just behind, Katy Coleman and Katrina Fisher giving them a 2-1 success at Nailsea Utd. Bishop's Lydeard lifted themselves into the top half by beating Cleeve West Town 3-1, Holly Miller netting twice and Rosie Harper the other, and Swindon Supermarine got the better of local rivals Swindon Spitfires, Michelle Rich hitting a hat-trick with Georgia Leonard (2), Kayleigh Smith, Annabel Martin and Jodie Reynolds completing an 8-0 victory.
Falmouth Town opened up a lead of three points in Western Division One after goals from Lauren Scrace and Sasha Sparkes earned them a 2-1 win over Launceston. Bude Town were beaten for the first time, 3-1 at Dobwalls who found the net through Vanessa Scott, Carolyn Woodman and an own goal. Charlestown and Morley Rangers shared a 2-2 draw, Lauren Bennett and Lauren Hoskin netting for the home side with Clare Thomas and Lauren Hewings replying. Laura Plant bagged both goals as Stoke Gabriel won for the second time, 2-0 over Callington Town, whilst Roche were 2-1 victors at Taunton Town thanks to a Charlotte Hobbs brace.
Southern Region League
Bracknell Town are the early leaders of the Premier Division, they defeated Launton 7-1 whilst Aldershot Town lie second after scoring six without reply against Oxford City. Oxford Utd ran out 5-1 winners over Woodley Utd and Shanklin returned from Wycombe Wanderers with a 4-1 victory. Southampton Women defeated Reading Town 3-0 but the other newly promoted team, Andover New Street, were on the receiving end of a 4-3 defeat by Maidenhead Utd.
In Division One (Northern), Chesham Utd Res were the only victors on the day, beating Beaconsfield SYCOB 4-3. Stony Stratford Town and Banbury Utd shared six goals whilst City Belles and Oxford City Blues battled out a 2-2 draw.
Basingstoke Town notched up an 8-0 win over Reading Ladies and are the opening day leaders of Division One (Southern), ahead of Boscombe Albion who defeated Locks Heath 6-0.
West Midlands League
Solihull Ladies have narrowly missed out on promotion in each of the last two seasons and they have started well this time around with a 9-1 victory over Kidderminster Harriers. Lichfield Diamonds beat Kingshurst Sporting 5-1 and are in second place, just ahead of Leamington Lions who were 3-0 winners at Wednesfield Town. Allscott defeated Bradwell Belles 4-2, Cannock triumphed 2-1 at Stratford Town and Hereford Pegasus were 3-2 victors against Stafford Town.
Dudley Utd Res made a flying start in their first match following promotion, beating Port Vale 6-1 to go into top spot in Division One North. Prees Raiders began well with a 5-2 victory over Cresswell Wanderers and FC Reedswood were 4-1 winners at Wyrley Ladies. Chasetown defeated newly promoted Silverdale 3-0 and the other two matches ended level, Coseley Town and Walsall sharing eight goals whilst Shifnal Harriers and Cottage Farm Rangers drew 2-2.
Malvern Town recorded the biggest win of the day in Division One South, beating Fairfield Villa 9-2. Coventry Sphinx defeated Redditch Utd 3-1 and local rivals Coventry Development won 2-0 against Marston Green, whilst Knowle were narrow 3-2 victors over Ferndale.
