The Scottish FA is delighted to announce Tynecastle Stadium as the new home for Scotland Women's UEFA European Championship campaign.
The home of Heart of Midlothian will host all four of Scotland's home qualification matches, beginning with Wales on Thursday, October 27 as Anna Signeul's side look to reach the Championships for the 2013 finals in Sweden.
Before the first qualifier at the new home of the women's team, Scotland face Finland in a Vauxhall International Challenge Match at Tynecastle tonight (kick off 7.30pm) as Anna's side continue their preparations for the new qualification campaign.
Anna Signeul, Scotland National Team Coach, said: "I am delighted that we will be playing our home qualification matches of this campaign at Tynecastle Stadium.
"The facilities here are excellent and it's a great stadium. I hope that being able to have a recognised base will play a role in helping Scotland qualify for the UEFA Women's European Championship finals in Sweden in 2013."
A Hearts spokesperson added: "Tynecastle has already demonstrated its appeal as a venue for international fixtures and we are delighted to be involved at the highest level of the women's game.
"We are proud to host the International Challenge Match here against Finland before the visit of Wales in October and we're all looking forward to playing our part in helping Scotland have a successful European Championship qualifying campaign."
